Abstract

Is a portrait of professor Lull's research that the author complied from a personal interview with Professor Lull. As can be seen, his academic work moves from theoretical reflection to the empirical approaches of contemporary culture. Professor Lull's work includes, studies on popular music, television audiences and the use of «scandal» as the main strategy of news reporting in the building up of the image of some of the most well known personalities. Currently Professor Lull is using comic strips as a new means to communicate the results of his research work.
