Abstract

In this text certain aspects of the problematic relationship between ethics and politics are described. Through a general reference to classical knowledge and to its logical way of presenting and working out that relationship, some of the dilemmas which the modern condition implies, when it is impregnated by social relations built on market-capitalist relations, are presented. Kant, Hegel and Marx are the necessary references which can reveal some of the cul de sacs which any effort to reunite ethics and politics within the coordinates of modern times must confront.
