Abstract
The progressive social frustration of the lower middle class during the second half of the mexican twentieth century, documented in a unique story: La familia Burrón, whose protagonists are moving from playing traditional roles and change it for survival strategies by which the wife becomes leader of the neighborhood in a social gender rebellion that makes “Borola Tacuche” an icon of feminism.
