Dispositivo de traducción en las relaciones de cooperación internacional Norte-Sur

Abstract

The notion of translation has been used as a means to relate own meanings from one language and deliver them to another, trying to keep a sense of them. However, the work of various postcolonial authors has highlighted the use of this notion to emphasize not only the communicative aspect of this concept, but also a means for analyzing a conflictive field, which implies that cultural differences tend to manifest as hierarchical and exercise of power differences. Based on this conception of translation, some relationships of international cooperation for development, established between donors from the North and recipients from the South from experiences between Europe and Latin America, are analyzed.
