Forma e imagen en la creación cinematográfica

  • Luis Lorenzano Ferro

Abstract

From the author's point of view, teaching about the cinema cannot be separated from the context of the conditions in which cinematographic language emerges. According to this author, cinematographic creation is a result of the convergence of multiple languages, ranging from the plastic and photographic to the different sources of oral and written literature. Thus, it is necessary to pose a few central questions: What is the specific nature of cinematographic creation in relation to the narrative or plastic, when seen as works of writing or as icons? What might be the areas of convergence and divergence between narration, plastic image and cinematographic image? The author concludes that the ways of seeing and understanding the separate worlds of the individual trends in the different fields of art, have not only been incorporated into cinematographic creation, but have also contributed to our daily visual experience.
