Foucault, filósofo del espacio
Abstract
In this arricie the author makes an exhaustive review of the work of Foucault form his first text Mental disease and Personality (1954) to both last volumes of the History of Sexuality (1984) in order to analyze the form in which this author constructs and use the notion of space. Throughout the text, Ma. Inés García shows us how "Foucault draws spaces, superimposes some on others, puts them in relation to each other, demonstrates the tension between them, opens up communication lines, constructs landscapes from the space of the dream to that of mental disease in order to recreate the space of madness and its experience. From the space of the body and the gaze to the one of language and thought. From the space of power to that of the art of existence, pleasure and friendship, closing the cycle with the other space: the "heterotopías".
