La representación mediática de las religiones emergentes y el encuentro etnográfico
Abstract
In the ethnography of religions suspicion conditions the production of knowledge from beginning to end. Specially the suspicion between researchers and researched permeates into all aspects of the inquiry; fills with uncertainties the relationships with our informants and with our colleagues; and is present in our readings, in the texts we write and also in the keys which we interpret. In this context, the role played for the mass media discourses is very important in order to explore the contextual conditions for the contemporary ethnography of religions.
