Bicentenario, tecnologías electrónicas de información colectiva y formación del “Estado mestizo” en México.

Abstract

To understand in depth the nature of the new Mexican State that emerged in twenty-first century, it is needed to follow the guidelines of traditional legal theory established on the state himself from the movement of Independence and the Revolution, also it is needed to review the conceptual approaches from which state have been assumed, to face it on the new specific realities of the State, that have emerged at the beginning of the new millennium. Otherwise, we will explain the existence of the current national State by using previous and obsolete conceptual categories outdated form new historical reality. Therefore it is essential to review in the light of the new elements of power that have emerged in Mexico −especially with the revolution in electronic information technology−, “how was transfigured the essence of the nation state, and from there develop a new media theory of the State to explain it on the recent stage of development of the national modernity.
