Euforia de género: la representación del travesti en la fotografía regiomontana de Aristeo Jiménez

Abstract

This paper presents some advances of a research project whose theme is the speech Aristeo Jiménez photo of his book Eye of the panicked look (2009) because what matters is identifying the representation of transvestites in photography, is located within the processes of democratization and socio-sexual regulation that determine the ways in which they understood and perceived gender identity. The body transvestite clothing by male and female binary question erecting new forms of meaning and representation to challenge the social construction of only two genders. We analyze a photograph of Aristeo Jiménez from the perspective of gender and aesthetics (emotional reception).
