Arte y TIC: ¿Predominio de la técnica o la cognición?

Abstract

In the current context of artistic production there is an important inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Digital art, net art, sound art and bio-art are examples of manifestations that have been influenced by ICTs, both in the process of production and distribution and diffusion . Within these creative proposals, there is a group of Latin American artists whose artistic discourse is not based in the use of new technological tools per se. Its objective is to reconfigure the ways in which art is created and to integrate into their repertoires social and political critical subjects of their historical context.
