México: el poder y las políticas de muerte en los narcomensajes.
Abstract
The essay begins with the description of four events in the last decade of drug trafficking in Mexico, discusses the meanings that are found in the messages of the drug cartels: as answers, warnings, or sentencings of an order by the drug cartels, as well as the mediation between population and Government. Exploring the theoretical notions relating to the drug war, politics and power; this work is formulated from the Cultural Studies to question the activation of sovereignty, the legitimacy of violence in Mexico, and the uniformity of the territories that are supposed to conform a Nation-State.
