Abstract

ABSTRACT: This paper develops some thoughts and information on film audiences and new media. In the first part, the figure of the fan is proposed as a way to study the film audiences, and since transmedia studies is proposed to consider three interrelated elements: post-cinema, post-subcultures, post-fandom. In the second part, present a brief report of a research with groups of college students in order to explore their time lines as user of new media and cinema audience.
